i'm new to this game and i tried to play it online today after i installed it and i couldnt get any servers so then i joined this site and read some of the posts hear and edited my .ini file according to one of the posts hear and then it came with the sessions that are available but i cant get in to any of them  i looked closely and i could see that they are unreal tournament servers how can this happen? how can i play online can u guys please help me Smiley

really? you got unreal servers returned? they are based off of the same engine...

the lines you changed in your .ini file were from an ip address to master.mobileforces.org right? I do think that that server is down which means you won't be able to find any dedicated servers (which I don't think there are any up)

Can anyone confirm that the MBS is down???
I cant check myself since I haven't got MoFo installed.  embarassed

If it's down, I'll start working on making one online myself (after talking to Natcher00 of course, so he can make the redirect).
This and a dedicated server would be OK for me to host.

Quite obviously I should stop making replies in the middle of the night.  grin

A simple ping was the answer...  rolleyes

(Next "dumb" question is how to make a MBS work? I guess the command "ucc.exe masterserver" is enough.
 I'll ask our master guru Natcher about it.  wink )

Please do.. Now that you managed to jank the beard out of the toaster perhaps we can get some actual gaming going? Atleast with 4 players.

actually that only tells me if the DNS is forwarding to a real server, that server may or may not be running a MBS server

I got my hands on a MBS, running at axi.sytes.net, but i just cant seem to configure it correctly.. It rejects all connections.. =0(
