Scratch that:
I've been informed of a more stable way of removing the laser (and you don't need Ed25 - You can do it in MFEd).

It involves the unreal script edirtor to remove the "laserclass" or something along those lines (at the bottom of the "RageRifle" script (somewhere)). I'm a 2D/3D artist and not an Unreal scripter, so someone else may need to give me a hand, or a mutator could be written.

Maybe a faint laser line in foggy maps and no laser in clear maps.

THIS IS THE CALLING FOR ALL EDITORS ON THIS FORUM TO PULL TOGETHER AND REMOVE THE LASER ONCE AND FOR ALL

yeah something like tf2, you need a dot on where the sniper is looking not a beam
